Over the past few years, there has been an increase in usage of straight razors and straight razor shaving related products. Consequently, the number of straight razor shaving related sites on the internet has also risen. There are, however, only a few I personally use, and recommend.

Recommended without reservations

• Coticule.be: The home of the famous Belgian whetstone by Bart Torfs. Comes with an excellent forum for these hones, and a plethora of Coticule related information. If you own a Coticule, or intend to get one, make sure to stop here first.

Recommended with reservations

• Straight Razor Place: The oldest, and largest "straight razors only" online community. The site has lots of great information, not least in its Wiki. But the fixation on hones can be somewhat disturbing. Otherwise great.

Not recommended

• Wet Shaving World: A new forum by Robert Williams. Same problems as above, plus lots of former members of SRP and, apparently, B&B who got banned there.
• Badger & Blade: An SRP spin-off with a penchant for badmouthing vendors.
