Linen, or pimp your SRD strop

Linen closeupStraight Razor Designs (aka SRD) is a really good online store for cut-throat paraphernalia. They produce a line of strops that deliver excellent quality at great prices. The owner, Lynn Abrams, has honed a good number of razors and decided that webbed fabric makes for a good alternative to linen. I never liked its feedback, look, and feel, though. So when the topic of linen came up at coticule.be, Torolf from Norway offered linen strops. I was sent two, and have now replaced the webbed fabric with linen. I cannot say whether the performance is better, but the feedback is excellent, and the look and feel are much better now - in my opinion. Here are some more images for your enjoyment...
